Colin Stoten, BA. LLb
Colin Stoten was admitted to practise as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 1981. Colin joined Turner Whelan in 1989 after working at several Law Firms on the New South Wales North Coast and in Sydney.
Colin became a Partner of Turner Whelan in 1989 and remained a Partner until 30 June 2008 when Turner Whelan merged with Abrams & Associates to become Abrams Turner Whelan Family Lawyers.
Colin’s practice includes Supreme Court Equity matters, such as Family Provision Act, Estate Planning, Wills and Testamentary Trusts, Common Law matters and Insurance Litigation Law. Colin was also part of Turner Whelan’s extensive agency practice and has appeared frequently in all Courts and many Tribunals. Colin is a CARS Assessor, a District Court Arbitrator and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Colin provides unique skills to Abrams Turner Whelan and is able to handle all matters ancillary to our client’s Family Law matters of a financial nature, Wills and Estate Planning and other litigation matters.
